Tabasco’s is covered in small lakes, wetlands and rivers. The vast abundance of water, beautiful warm weather and abundant wildlife make it the perfect fly fishing destination all the year.

During august, one of the biggest migrations in Tabasco occurs when a little fish called “Topen” comes out of the swamps. This fish is the base of the food chain in this area. As thousands of Topen enter the rivers and lakes, the fishery becomes a “feasting ground” for a lot of species including large tarpon, snook and even jacks. While the weather can be variable, the fishing is always spectacular.
